IT NEVER RAINS DOES IT! 3rd August 2008 So we've had our van go up in flames, poured copius amounts of (nearl) beer down the drain and find that the yeast we thought would be consistant turns out to be consistantly rubbish ! The nice young men at brew lab have found us some quality yeast that should be with us soon and will go into trials on arrival at our brewery to hopefully get the beer right ! So we should have some real beer with the quality we are hoping for in around 4 more weeks ! Huzzah !See you all (?) at the next enthralling episode of the blog that time forgot! STYLE COUNCIL...21st February 2008 Yes,yes,yes,yes,YES!!! Always said we have a wonderful council! All bar 1 say yes to our application so celebrations all round. Would love to say last night was great but to be honest I can't really remember much of it ! Beers a wonderful thing! It now looks like the real work starts here. Thursdays planning meeting beckons and if it fails this time we've at least got a brewery in a unit! The Copper, HLT, Mash Tun and 2 FV's have been delivered and strewn around the unit. Off to the commitee with you boy !! As was not so expected this time around the planners are sending us to the planning commitee on the 21st March. MARCH !! PLANNING A MOVE...6th January 2008 Well we've moved already ! Thanks in part to the complete inlogic of the planning we have a bigger and better unit on the local industrial estate.. So there you go, larger brewery before we evan start!!. The brewery plant itself has now been built and alterations to the unit are underway. Pics and things have been taken and will appear here sometime, and the vans been signwritten so if I don't get started pretty soon I'm going to look dafter than usual driving around advertising a nonexistent brewery!! VERY APPEALING...9th July 2007 Now that's a surprise ! First stage of the planning consent gets turned down . So in goes the appeal all ready and waiting for the council. No dissapointments as this was expected. The appeal should be enough to get it through as they've already set themselves up for a fall by giving permission in a far denser residential area !
